When you get in touch

The contact form sends me your name, email, chosen practice and message, along with the page the enquiry came from. I use those details to understand your enquiry and reply. Netlify Forms processes and stores the submission.

I review enquiries regularly, delete spam and aim to remove closed or no-longer-relevant enquiries within 90 days, unless they’re needed for ongoing work or record keeping. This is a manual process, not an automatic expiry.

Likes and shares in the feed

The portfolio’s simulated social feed uses a random browser-tab identifier and session storage to remember your likes. The server stores hashed identifiers, post IDs and timestamps to count likes and completed share actions. It does not store your name or email in those records.

Unliking removes that like. Share records and remaining likes currently have no automatic expiry. Displayed totals include demonstration starting numbers, so they aren’t the original campaigns’ results. Feed interactions are not sent to Google Analytics.

Analytics are your choice

Google Analytics stays off unless you select “Allow analytics” in the footer’s Analytics preferences. Declining is just as easy, and the site works either way. Your choice is saved in this browser until you change it or clear site storage. If storage is blocked, the choice lasts only for the current page session.

If you allow it, Google receives page visits and ordinary browser and network information, and may use its own cookies and identifiers. This site removes query strings and fragments from page addresses, limits referrer information, and does not send enquiry content or feed identifiers. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled.

Analytics only run on the public site, not development previews. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control requests keep them off. To withdraw consent, choose “Decline analytics” in the footer. This clears accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the tracking code. It does not erase information already sent to Google.

Hosting and other websites

Netlify hosts this site and handles requests, security and form delivery. Its service may process technical request information separately from the application’s records. See Netlify’s privacy policy. Links to social profiles take you to services with their own privacy practices.
